 Compressing Javascript files is the de facto standard. jQuery and many
 other open source JS libraries that ?WordPress uses are all bundled in
 their compressed version.

 Don't get me wrong, I'm all for transparency and such, but I see nothing
 wrong with compression either.

 Bumping the version BTW as there's no patch or community consensus yet.
