 Andreas, what are DB_CHARSET and DB_COLLATE in wp-config.php, what is
 "Encoding for pages and feeds" (Admin Panel -> Settings -> Reading) and in
 what character set wp_posts table is? I suspect that these are charset
 conversion issues.
