 It brings the benefit of having icons that do their job well.  Icons in
 user interfaces are not just decoration that “goes with the whole visual
 design”.

 The amount of time spent is no justification.  If the result is bad, spend
 more time or pick an alternative.

 If there is interest in the approach I’m suggesting, I’m willing to help
 in any way I can.
