 I'm not able to test this right now, but one extra thing I forgot to
 mention. An earlier post said: "To upgrade via FTP, you need to define
 FTP_HOST, FTP_USER, and FTP_PASSWORD in your wp-config.php".

 Has this been replaced by the log-in screen? I for one would appreciate
 being able to specify this globally.
