 When I edit a new post, I often want to link to it in the excerpt of the
 post. To do so, on wordpress.com I select the permalink that is displayed
 between the title and post fields, copy it and paste it inside the excerpt
 folder within an a tag.

 On pasting, the string after the last forward slash is copied twice, e.g.

 http://panospace.wordpress.com/2008/06/20/out-of-orderout-of-order/

 instead of the correct

 http://panospace.wordpress.com/2008/06/20/out-of-order/

 observed on Firefox 3.0, Windows XP SP3, wordpress.com
