 We have found that our database server is sometimes running out of
 connections. We would like to try and offset the vast majority of
 Wordpress' Select Statements to the slave DBs we have in our replicated
 system.

 We have started work on a patch to wp-db.php to fix this (based off 2.5.1
 currently) which I'll attach to this ticket.
