 Steps to Reproduce:

 1. Use wp-config-sample.php in WordPress 2.5.1 to create a wp-config.php
 file. The wp-config contains SECRET_KEY.

 2. Use wp-config-sample.php in WordPress 2.6 to create a wp-config.php
 file. The wp-config contains AUTH_KEY, SECURE_AUTH_KEY, and LOGGED_IN_KEY
 but no SECRET_KEY.

 3. Upgrade from WordPress 2.5.1 to WordPress 2.6.

 4. Delete cookies in web browser.

 5. Attempt to login in to wp-admin.


 Results:

 Log in fails. Every time I attempt to log in, it redirects me back to the
 name/pw screen.


 Workaround:

 Replace new wp-config.php file from 2.6 with old wp-config.php file from
 2.5.1. Login to wp-admin then succeeds.


 Notes:

 The relationship between the old SECRET_KEY and the new keys is not well
 documented. Searching the documents found by
 http://wordpress.org/search/%22SECRET_KEY%22 doesn't tell you much.
