Comment (by seofeed):

 I agree. That's what seems to be happening. From the database:

 Example 1 from above:

 SEO Feed's guide to the top 7 videos available covering Web 2.0. After
 scouring the web for the best videos out there covering Web 2.0 and its
 impact on consumers and businesses, these are the best of the best.

 <p><strong>7) 12 Days Of Web 2.0 Christmas</strong></p>
 <div align="center">
 <object height="350" width="425"><param name="movie"
 value="http://www.youtube.com/v/365I3i8a0N0"></param><param name="wmode"
 value="transparent"></param><embed
 src="http://www.youtube.com/v/365I3i8a0N0" type="application/x-shockwave-
 flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
 </div>
 <p>This is too funny. Thought we should start the series out with a funny
 video. 12 marketing strategies for Web 2.0 sung by a guy driving a car. I
 wish it was Christmas time -:)</p>

 Example 2 from above:

 In a desperate attempt to gain search market share, software behemoth
 Microsoft is making another <a
 href="http://news.wired.com/dynamic/stories/M/MICROSOFT_YAHOO?SITE=WIRE&amp;SECTION=HOME&amp;TEMPLATE=DEFAULT"
 title="Microsoft To Buy Yahoo">bid to buy search giant Yahoo</a>. My first
 reaction is: Is Yahoo really that stupid? At first glance, this deal
 doesn't make any sense.

 ---End Examples---

 They are the same as the metaweblog API is reporting, so that does seem to
 be working, but they are not being saved to the database properly in the
 first place.
