Comment:

 Has this ticket been abbandoned?  It seems that the new versions of
 Wordpress are crippled due to this bug (No drag-and-drop issue when trying
 to install widgets to a sidebar).
 This problem has been since version 2.2 and nobody in the develpment group
 noticed it.
