Comment:

 Adding features to XML-RPC that would expose comment information is
 something that we've brought up before.  If you are interested I recommend
 joining the wp-xmlrpc email list

 @technosailor -

 You can already add your own XML-RPC methods and override existing ones
 with the current code, that ticket isn't needed in order to do that.
