 I created a new database.

 It still works for me. Is the resulting URL after a first save
 http://localhost/wp/trunk2/wp-admin/page.php?action=edit&post=3

 Publish takes me back to http://localhost/wp/trunk2/wp-admin/page-new.php

 You have no plugins installed? What version of PHP on what web server?
