 The forums link in the footer goes to a specific forum, not the forums
 root. It's also worth bearing in mind that the codex and forums links
 aren't there for us, but for all the people who use WordPress but aren't
 aware of those resources.

 That being said, I support the motion to move the log out link to the
 right. It's more intuitive and easier to locate.
