 I think that problem isn't in http.php...
 I try all from this tread but posting is verrrrryyy slow...ultra slow. WP
 Super Cache for example not a problem...tested.

 When I want to edit some post, updating is fast, like in 2.6.5.

 Maybe problem is autosave ? Don't like this option and in my installation
 is disabled.

 Still waiting for solution.
