 Tonight I spent a while doing some work converting categories to tags in
 WordPress.  After looking through the 2.7 admin menus and investigating
 any that looked promising I decided that I was going to have to make the
 changes manually - Why I didn't Google this is beyond me.

 Thanks to a couple of twitter friends, and the aforementioned Google
 search I did find this converter listed amongst the options on the import
 page.

 It would seem that this option would be easier to find, and better
 categorized under Tools -> Tools; and might even serve by being linked
 from the categories and tags pages.
