 Much like #8348, the default behaviour of get_children has changed as a
 result of #8085 being fixed. The default value of 0 should be removed from
 this function.

 I found this bug as it broke Viper007Bond's excellent regenerate-
 thumbnails plugin. :-)

 (By the way, this appears to be the last bug of its kind in the 2.7 tree.)
