Comment:

 We always set the correct charset in {{{wp_mail()}}}:
 http://trac.wordpress.org/browser/trunk/wp-includes/pluggable.php#L404

 Since we don't have other patches to phpmailer, we should stay as close to
 the upstream version as possible.
