 now that we have an amazing plugin installer, many people are going to use
 it. however only showing the top 6 of the featured, popular, newest and
 recently updated plugins seems like an odd restriction.

 A simple fix would to show the top 15 at least, or 24 would be better.

 the problem seems to be with the wordpress plugin API on wordpress.org. It
 seems to be limiting the requests to 6 on it's end.
