Comment:

 See #6321, it works when you at least save the draft.

 Unfortunately there's no real–time permalink preview update present (as of
 2.7-RC2), it is triggered on the first autosave and/or when the title
 input loses focus for the first time.

 Watch #6619 and #7733 and  #6716 for more permalink–preview–update–related
 issues and possible resolution.
