 As the description says, plus if you don't have the 'edit posts'
 permission and the 5 newest comments are either spam or unapproved then
 the 'Recent Comments' list will be empty. Attached is a patch that fixes
 the problem (which was that the counter that maxes out at 5 was being
 incremented even if the comment wasn't selected for view).
