 I tested my plugin checker with the new http class and cannot change the
 user-agent.

 In class WP_Http_Streams() the user-agent is defined with the array key
 "user-agent", but it should be "user_agent" (see
 http://de2.php.net/manual/de/context.http.php).

 Tested with PHP 5.2.6 / WIN
