 You guys could just slap in the [http://jquery.andreaseberhard.de/pngFix/
 jQuery pngFix] to fix most of the problems.  But the sprite sheets will
 have to be excluded from the fix.

 The !AlphaImageLoader object cannot handle the background-position
 attributes.  So using a png sprite sheet is impossible to work on IE6.

 Been there, done that, got angry about it.  :)
