 If you don't see the "stay updated" link in your footer, you need to
 delete the update_core option. It will regenerate on the next page load
 and the link should then appear.  You have to be an admin to see the link.
 Clicking "stay updated" will immediately start an auto upgrade.  If you
 are using FTP, it should prop for credentials first.
