 I updated the version-check api to handle locales and to point to the
 latest nightly build if you are using a development version.

 Development:

 http://api.wordpress.org/core/version-check/1.2/?version=2.7-bleeding

 Locale example:

 http://api.wordpress.org/core/version-check/1.2/?version=2.6&locale=ja

 The locale has to have an lc.wordpress.org site and a downloadable 2.6
 package.

 The 1.2 version-check is experimental and may change, so don't rely on it
 yet.
