 Do you mind if the first patch is simple, with focus on implementing a
 simple check for whether the user hooks into the uninstall action for that
 plugin? I would like the ability to register assets and allow WordPress to
 automatically uninstall it for me.

 However, I think that only advanced users will do that. If a user is going
 to install the plugin, then I think they'll know enough to put all of the
 uninstall stuff in the uninstall hook.
