 I just updated to r6070 and am still having the infinite redirect problem.
 With Firefox I get:

 The page isn't redirecting properly

       Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for
 this address in a way that will never complete.
     *   This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to
 accept
           cookies.
 }}}

 It works exactly as expected when I comment out the add_action line in wp-
 includes/canonical.php
