 right so I took a back up of my database and deleted the original again.
 Then installed WP2.3.1 and all ok until I import the backup into the new
 database..then it comes back..
 this would lead me to believe that it is a database error..not WP.
 I have no idea how to resolve this problem. It is only with writing new
 pages/posts and only happens when the databse is imported
