 Usually we fix/change things in trunk first (which corresponds with the
 current 2.4 milestone) and then backport it to previous releases if that's
 deemed necessary.

 So this issue may end up fixed in a maintenance release for 2.3.x, but for
 now it's first slated for 2.4.
