Comment:

 This is a sideeffect of the changes made to wp_list_pages to try and
 support what is wanted in #4004.

 It shows why reusing filters all over the code for similar but not
 identical things in not a good idea!

 filter names should relate to where there are called from not the item of
 data on which the operate.
