I think, unfortunately for us and the users, its actually a bit late to
change to making comments/crap on Pages an option, because so many themes
have left it out. If it were to be an option, and a theme had left out the
function to call the comment form, well, when someone enables it and goes
looking for their comments they'll be wondering what's going on.
I don't think a plugin can possibly help here, unless its going to
memorize the HTML structure of all the various themes and insert the
comment stuff on the page where it would normally be, if that's even
possible. Feasible? Doubt it.
I still like the idea, but how to implement it without generating many
many headaches, I don't know :).
