Comment:

 I think this would be confusing for users if the content of comments were
 searched. This can potentially lead users to posts which are irrelevant to
 what they're searching for.

 As Nazgul said, there are plugins which add this functionality if it is
 needed.

 Recommending close as WONTFIX.
