 All of these questions and suggested work arounds strengthen the argument
 for entirely separate structures, using wp_post2tag and wp_tags.  And
 adding a cat_type to post2cat just to force tags in doesn't seem logical
 because, as everyone here agrees (and I'm not saying again just to be
 inflammatory), tags are not a kind of category.
