 No difference in 2.07. Tested in both IE7 and Firefox 2.0.0.1 and happens
 with both.

 I disabled all plugins, even though none are directly related to the
 admin, but the preview below might have had some sort of reason for the
 hang between visual/html editors. I tested it and was not a solution.

 Please explain what you mean by more complex?
