 novasource, you appreciate that there must be a more specific reason for
 the problem, because if the problem was this general it would have been
 reported long before now.

 What Firefox plugins do you have installed? Tried disabling them all?
 Cleared your browser cache?

 Possibly #3646 relates (don't think it will)? Have you tried the
 [http://wordpress.org/wordpress-2.1.1-RC1.zip release candidates for WP
 2.1.1]?
