 Same issue.

 Tried all the above. No result. Do-evasive is not activated.

 Server environment

 PHP 4.3.9-3.22
 mysql   4.1.20-1.RHEL4.1

 Nothing showing in the error log. And for that matter nothing showing in
 the access log either - ie - no references to cron or wp-cron
