 We saw some wierdness on wordpress.com where either reverting this change
 or disabling the share this plugin would fix problems with the uploader.
 This was not uniformly seen on other blogs running share this.  One error
 seen was:

 pp[i].split is not a function -- line 45
 }}}

 Didn't do much debugging yet.  We reverted the js changes on wordpress.com
 for now.
