 After fiddling with this for what seems like forever, I have resigned
 myself to the same conclusion as Andy did -- that blogger leaves only the
 permalink as a reference, and that is what needs to be used within blogger
 to correlate the post and comments.

 However, haloscan uses the blogger postid to connect their comments to the
 post, and therefore the metadata needs to keep the blogger postid field
 around.  This update simply adds that metadata field to each post as it's
 imported.  This lays the groundwork for adding haloscan import (ticket
 #4008), which I'm still working on.

 This simple change, therefore accomplishes/closes this ticket.
