Comment:

 masquerade: I appreciate your perspective and possibly another solution is
 better, but I don't see it as an immediate issue considering the few bugs
 reported against this component.

 Currently there is a component of WordPress.org, so this bug is valid.
 Seeing how there is not currently a better place for WP infrastructure
 bugs, this bug is valid.
