 westi: hardlinks can't be used because Subversion nukes them.  Confirmed
 behavior.

 Anyway, I submitted this as a different bug because the newer bug is more
 to the point and the patch is more concise and doesn't have the drawbacks
 some pointed on this bug.  Feel free to nuke this bug.
