 I know that this is not probably the best place, but I have another patch,
 this time for the Widgets plugin.

 The Widgets plugin in its naiveté assumes that ABSPATH and
 dirname(__FILE__).  Wrong when using phantom directories to run WordPress.
 The attached patch fixes it.
