Comment:

 Being javascript, and equipped with several wp hooks (see
 tiny_mce_config.php), our TinyMCE is very pluggable.

 Adding the rel attribute to the link editor will do more harm than good
 across the WP user base. This is stuff for plugins.

 Nice patch by the way. :-)
