 technosailor the reason i closed it is because askimet is a plugin that is
 just incuded in wordpress and is not part of the core (i could delete it
 and wp would not break) askimet has its own area at http://dev.wp-
 plugins.org were it gets updated

 And the idea of a widget has been raised over here

 Im going to leave it opened until i get a 2nd opinion
