[wp-svn] wp-includes/media.php causing validation error

I have noticed when I validate my site using W3C I get a validation error that is coming from the media.php in the WP-Includes folder. Here is the code that is causing the error:

$output = apply_filters('gallery_style', "
        <style type='text/css'>
            #{$selector} {
                margin: auto;
            }
 
I don't know enough about coding to know if this can be resolved, but I thought I would bring it to the attention of someone who does.
