 There's a couple of pages in the mentioned handbook that need updating:
 https://make.wordpress.org/handbook/?s=.%3C/a%3E

 A misplaced `.` isn't a very high priority thing, but needs to be raised
 with the specific teams who manage the handbooks to resolve, as currently
 we don't have any publicly contributable docs handbooks like that.
