--------------------------------------+--------------------

Type: defect (bug) | Status: new
Priority: normal | Milestone:
Component: Make (Get Involved) / P2 | Keywords:

The “Mark as Done” button on the Polyglots request page is not
functioning. When clicked, nothing happens.
**URL Affected:**
Sample: https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/2026/02/25/dear-polyglots-
team-2
**Steps to Reproduce:**
1. Go to the Polyglots request page
https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/2026/02/25/dear-polyglots-team-2/.
2. Locate the “Mark as Done” button.
3. Click the button.
**Expected Behavior:**
Clicking the button should mark the request as completed (as it previously
did).
**Actual Behavior:**
Nothing happens when the button is clicked. No visual feedback, no status
change, and no apparent action triggered. Watch:

**Additional Notes:**
- Inspecting the element in the browser shows no action or event handler
attached to the button.
- I believe this functionality previously worked, so this may be a recent
issue or regression.
- Please confirm whether this is intentional (feature change) or an
unintended bug.
