 has been released to include support for

 In order to allow for WordPress Core to update the software, could the
 assets directory in the zip file be uploaded to the CDN at the URLs

 * https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/16.0.1/72x72/
 * https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/16.0.1/svg/

 Per the [https://github.com/jdecked/twemoji/compare/v15.1.0...v16.0.1
 changelog], multiple images have changed so it's not possible to add the
 new images to the existing directory.
