 The Interactivity API is a new API shipped in WordPress in 6.5.] It is a
 good candidate to be a new [https://make.wordpress.org/core/notifications/
 Core Component].

 It does not fall clearly under any of the existing Core Components. Trac
 tickets wind up in the "General" Component. We cannot take advantage of
 the benefits of a dedicated Component like notifications or maintainers.
 Additionally, there's no dedicated Slack channel where folks can discuss
 the API and development conversations can happen in public.
