Comment:

 I tested the original test video and more videos in the wordpress.tv home
 page and I can confirm it is now possible tp operate the video player
 controls with a keyboard.

 There are other issues, for example I noticed about 8 silent tab stops
 when tabbing through the video player, but they should likely be reported
 in a separate ticket. Closing as 'works for me'.
