 I'm sure there are plenty of bright people working on Meta who can develop
 something to aggregate meaningful data in 17 hours. I know I have for my
 update servers.

 So, why hasn't there been any sign of progression for 17 months? Why are
 plugin developers being set aside? Are our contributions not good enough
 for WordPress?
