 Accessibility as an afterthought is not the way to go here.

 Further, the block editor is buggy itself so I don't think getting rid of
 the option to switch away from it because there might be bugs makes sense.

 he vast majority of posts being done with the block editor is probably
 because people don't realize there is an option to switch away from it.
