 I prototyped a WordPress Playground documentation workflow based on
 @flexseth's idea.

 It enables storing WordPress pages and uploads in a GitHub repo, editing
 and previewing them with Playground, and saving changes directly back to
 that repo. The’s a “Edit the Documentation” button and the video in the
 README demonstrates it:

 I’d love to explore this in Playground and, if it pans out, discuss using
 it for other WordPress projects and handbooks.
